The outfeed table appears to be stuck in the full up position. I am following David Best’s guide for adjust the jointer plane and have jumped and pounded to no avail. It is also not clear to me how the adjustment works. The infeed table moves freely. The the black bar that connects the ways on both sides rotates with the infeed table adjustment bar but when I turn the black knob that adjusts the outfeed table the corresponding black bar does not rotate and of course the outfeed table is stuck in what appears as the full up position. Any suggestions on a next step would be appreciated.?
