Does anyone know of a chain mortise that is hand held and can cut a slot 1.5 wide and 8 inches deep.
We need to cut slots into SIP foam core roof panels to install 2x10 rafters.? We are installing a new roof over the SIP.
Our installation of the panels was done (year 2000) before the SIP convection problem was addressed, leading to moisture condensing in the gap between panels that led to rot.
Rather than take off the panels, we will build a roof over the roof this spring.
