I would like to add to the discussion of Fiama vs M503. I had not used the rip fence in low position until recently and that brought up the issue of how to update the DRO easily for 2 rip fence positions.
Fiama F8P has origin feature that allows for 3 different offsets. First I had to change my keys programming to ¡°change of origin¡± - from 112 to 114. Then I programmed PrS0 to 41.9mm (diff in fence width between Hi and Lo positions). With that, I can push enter/reset key to toggle between the two.
Just checked my M503 manual and it does not have this feature. So just FYI.
