Ed I would suggest twist locks or euro style plugs Felder those dryer plug are hard to use.

I can¡¯t recall where I saw that, but it wasn¡¯t here. Didn¡¯t sound right to me, which is why I became curious as to the presence of a neutral on modern USA machines.?


Mac, thanks for the offer, but I¡¯d like to stick with a surface mount receptacle and plug. Might end up going the oven plug route. All this wiring would be removed if decide to sell the house someday, so I¡¯m not super concerned about the pin configuration beyond it being able to carry the current safely.?
