Not a hose solution but I purchased a large roll of floor matting, unused,? at a flea market, the kind that is used in trucks that haul cattle. It's about 1 inch thick indestructable very comfortable to stand on. Works really well in front of benches and tools. bought a long time ago maybe 20 years, still have plenty left.
