I saw a zero clearance waste board in a Martin Dual Miter ad so I made one for my EGL. I added a mitered Fritz and Franz to hold the work piece. I mostly used it to cut window glazing and creep up on a good tight fit. It was easy to eyeball a very tiny cut off the end of zero clearance waste board. I would mark the glazing bead on the window sash then trim. I would align the mark with the edge of the waste board. I experimented with small lights to shine where the pencil mark aligned with the waste wood but did not come up with anything useful.
