The right angle adapter works great for me both in jointer and planer modes. It routes the hose just as I would like. Even though mine is dual 51 concept is same. I use 2 separate hoses (thanks to David Best) for jointer and planer and both are standard 5¡± spiral hoses. The pics illustrate the benefit to me for the right angle connector. ?Jointer: Planer: This is important because you want the hose to go up, otherwise it will be in the path of outfeed.
