With a cost of $4K per machine for the upgrade I have to wonder how many tersa blades you could buy for that kind of money?

I¡¯ve been running Tersa for over 20 years in 3 machines. The M42 was a big disappointment. It¡¯s Ok for clear softwoods but chips easy in knotty and hard material. I have ended up going carbide and sometimes coated HSS from Kanafusa and Leitz.
