I don't know if you can beat Brian Lamb's fence for simplicity and effectiveness.
There's no need to square another piece of fence to the blade/slider.
Brian's fence and Mac's clamps make an awesome duo.
Bill, first and most importantly, I am offering a free design and not in any way in competition with Brian .. whose work I salivate at! I have no doubt that Brian¡¯s offerings make my design look like the toy it is.
But ¡ it is free to those who, like us in Oz, cannot justify the cost involved in importing Brian¡¯s parallel guide from the US. Lucky asked me for details recently, and I have responded. I don¡¯t get the subsequent defensive attack here. If you know anything about me, you will know I have been freely offering tool designs for decades.
