This is a sample we made for a Alpine attendee last year. He wanted to build a 4” thick front door. We made these mock-ups using 92mm thick scantlings. The one on the right was made to use a Tectus type hinge but also what the meeting stiles might look like. We did this using the Multiuse cutter with a 4mm groover for the gasket. It was easy with only two passages on the shaper. To avoid buying dedicated tools.
