So it sounds like a person could make pretty decent miters without investing in the precision miter table accessory? ?

I expected that as the gradations are so far away. If you can make joints with no gaps then it is good enough for me. Perhaps operator error then.

Does using the 45 deg marking for the long xcut fence work for you to make perfect 45s, let¡¯s say for a simple frame?
I used my precision 45 deg square for making this frame but it is only 6¡± on the long side. Frame?is fine but not to my standard. Maybe, I should not have sold the frame square saw.
I found 2 options, if a setup square is recommended but there is no accuracy provided.
I know someone is going to suggest miter saw but not everything fits my miter saw.
