I always use stop if I need to cut a piece to the length I want. I can always remove the stops if it creates the problem for the cut. I think the stop is essential for the F&F jig. Another disadvantage of putting stops on the F&F jig is that when in use the stops create a gap between the two faces preventing smaller pieces being gripped between the two faces.? |
