First, kudos for writing up a detailed msg for describing the problem. One of the best that I can recall.
It appears that you have a felder schematic. If you would like you can email me a copy (reply to sender at bottom of msg) and then we can have a call. I have done this before with others. In the end you may still need to have a talk with felder but the more you know about your machine the better off you will be.
I have 2001KF and my schematic is for CF731 as well and I do not see K4 (just see K1) so I would like to see your schematic.
