I just received my Quick Lock shaper cap (thank you again Michael Marsico!), the instructions that ship with it explicitly say to NOT touch or loosen the slotted set/grub screw. You should be able to loosen the (likely 4mm) hex set/grub screw, then manually loosen the cap by rotating the correct direction (should be clockwise to loosen in this orientation, correct??).....
