You¡¯re right, .785 is the same as 19.94mm, but .785 is the closest the indicator can get to 20mm, and since it¡¯s set up for resetting to 20mm (being made in Austria), I¡¯m thinking that when we reset, we are actually resetting to 20mm whether or not we¡¯re in metric, and it just calls is .785 if you¡¯re in imperial. My assumptions have gotten me in trouble before though. But while I¡¯m at it, why not one more assumption?
