Thanks Bill. From your write up it appears that the machine starts when contacts 7 & 8 are shorted together.

Anyone, with this setup should be able to see an AC or DC voltage on one of the contacts, assuming something under 30V. Once you confirm the voltage level for safety reason, you should be able to short the two manually with a wire or a switch to confirm the start and stop.

Once confirmed, add a relay that is controlled via remote. See my earlier write up in this thread.

One thing I realized after my last post that blue tooth might have a safety advantage due to the pairing nature. There are a bunch of BT relay control modules but they primarily seem to work with phone. Exception is the festool device, which may be worth exploring.

You are absolutely right, I reread the manual and it is for the Felder automated start solution. I do not know how this OEM Felder solution works, but at some point it opens and closes this circuit via terminal 7 and 8 according to the electric diagram coming with your machine.
