I can¡¯t help you with the original thread but be very aware that the wee pivoting panel that they give¡depending on what size power feed you go for and whether you are intending to use it on the planer as well as the spindle moulder. .. is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. I have a large power feeder. The central column is rarely vertical and also inconsistent. As you spin it round to feed the spindle, it will tilt one way. Then the other way when you use it on the planer. I also made the mistake of buying a feeder that was missing one axis of adjustment and so difficult to compensate.
Also, a large feeder is more than I can manage to swing back down. Mine is 70kg and I¡¯d need to be Arnie. There is not enough room for a gas strut either.
