Mitch,

You can connect power to A1 & A2. do not connect any thing to dust collector. Confirm 15 & 16 are shorted and there is an open between 15 & 18.

Now turn a machine on that has the coil installed. You should be able to verify that 15 & 18 are now shorted and there is an open between 15 & 16.

This is what the dust collector switch needs to turn the DC on.

Mitch,

This is best I can think of. Maybe someone here will confirm. Run it by Felder before implementing it.

Imran,

The dust collector motor is single phase and thus uses just two of the available 3 input lines at the contactor. The contactor is controlled by 240V for switching on/off.

I assume your dust collector motor is 3 phase since you mention it is controlled by a 3 phase contactor. How is this contactor switched? 110AC or 220AC or some DC voltage?

?

I can at least recommend something that you should run by felder before trying.

?

From PN you have 220-240VAC model.

?Greetings to all,
I recently purchased, from Felder, a ZIEHL STW1K S225636 Dust Collector Control Module along with a few of the ZIEHL STWA1 Coil Transformers to control my dust collector. This module controls up to 8 machines and uses the coil transformers to activate a relay in the STW1K to turn on the dust collector. When the individual machines (say a saw or planer), are powered off, then the dust collector will too be turned off, following a short delay. If anyone is familiar with this setup, I could use some help on the wiring. I am unsure of the connections at A1, A2, 16, and 18. See photos and wiring diagrams. For reference, I'm running a Felder K940 5.5 KW 3 phase slider and Felder AD951 3 phase Jointer/Planer 7.5 KW via a Phase Perfect 20 HP. My Dust collector has a 5HP with Baldor motor with a 3 Phase contactor for on/off. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
