I have one of those laser adapters that you attach to the bottom of your laser for fine tuning the line out on a jobsite and thought, hmm.. magnetic base... laser adapter? " ? Here is the adapter and the base magnetic which are both on amazon? ? Fingers crossed that it will work perfectly.. ? ?

In the ad it says1-2mm wide at 1m, and 2-3mm wide at 3m. So I¡¯m guessing about 2mm, and given your blade is about 3mm, that should be fine enough.
