Tom,

Freeborn Tool located in Spokane Washington specializes in shaper tooling, all of their product is in made in Spokane. ?They are currently making me a custom version of their spiral cutter for pattern work. I have found their prices to be very competive. Nice folks.

Good day to the Group!

I'm still researching a future KF700S purchase, and am currently working on tracking down shaper tooling, which will inform which spindle(s) I order. Based on a current project I'm working on (thank you Jason Holtz for the Eden Prairie, Greene & Greene stairs referral), I'm realizing the utility of a relatively deep-cutting groove cutter for cutting bridle joints. I see Felder has two tooling options that would work, the 04.1.200 and the 04.2.200.??

I understand that much of the Felder tooling is produced for them by another manufacturer. If there a domestic (North American) manufacturer that produces a narrow slot cutter with a ~65mm/2-1/2" depth? If so that's great, if not I'll plan on ordering the Felder tooling. Thanks ahead of time for any input/guidance....
