My KF700 came with it, USA base spec. I would not be without it.

Besides sheet goods just doing long boards is a pain on my KF. I use a sled due to short slider but would be same if you had parallel clamps on a long slider. I have rough lumber that is all diff width but even if they are all same width and you are trying to preserve the width, you end up setting up width for each board on slider for the first straight line rip. Then I have to go to the other side to turn the saw on. I know you can leave it on to avoid this back and forth. In this example, the buttons on the slider end, if I had them, would still be covered, unless one can approach them from side.

Files section should have the pendent, as someone mentioned. That design can be implemented as an overhead pendent or one that is attached/placed on machine wherever convenient. A lot less than $1K.

?I'm looking for insights and experience for deciding whether it's worth the extra cost to get the option of power switches on the end of the slider for a KF 700. (Cost is $1,000-plus, I think.) Is it something you use a lot, or is the switch panel on the side sufficient? Thanks.
