Re: Power feeder recommendation for Hammer B3 Winner?

 

Hi Folks,
I have a B3 on order (with comfort options) and while I wait for delivery, I'm discovering the World of Shapers and the rabbit hole I've seemed to found myself in. I knew next to nothing about shapers when I ordered the B3. This shaper thing is ending up being more expensive than I had anticipated.

So I'm considering a power feeder. Should I consider getting a power feeder? Am I going to be happy with Felder's offering? Would a Co-Matic DC40 be a better route? Something else? Would the Tilt-Away mount be considered mandatory? Is it beefy enough for the DC40?

I'm in for a penny, in for a pound on this investment so while I'd like to keep the expense down, I'd rather cry once.

I'm sure there will be follow-up questions.
