Thanks, Dave, for info. I did a windshield replacement on my 65 Cyclone last year, but that one has a rubber seal and not set up like the 68-69 Torino's. I had to pull all the trim pieces off inside

Well it should be fairly easy for your friend to get the VIN. He is very lucky that it is a '68 and a Ford because the VIN is on the Passenger side. Based on the pics it looks like the passenger side
