Like the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile collectable!!? One of the full size driving units visited our neighborhood a few years back.?
Seems like way back in the day they also had a whistle of it.? Probably politically unacceptable nowadays but hey,? I turned out OK, I think,? maybe.? Mommy!!

It looks like a Midnight Blue. Really dark, almost black.

Marty,
I have the same model in 1:18 scale, mine is blue, what color is
your model?
It's the closest I can get to my 69 Cobra Formal roof R Code.
I have about 70, 1:18 scale diecast models.
Only one? 1:1 scale model.

I actually have a Maisto die cast model of the 69
Dega and it is.more spot on. Even has the correct wheels and
tires, not the Magnum alloys in the auction.

1) The tires/wheels are wrong.? They should be 14" sport rims with
argent paint and a plain cap.
2) The underside should be painted with red primer, not black.
3) I'm pretty sure that the nose of the differential should also
be
red primer, but I could be wrong on that.
4) I'm pretty sure that the trunk mat should be speckled, not
plaid.? Did Ford's get plaid mats?? I thought that was Mercury
only.? There should not be a cover on the spare.
5) Did Ford's ever get a hood blanket?
6) (Very minor nit.)? The flat black paint does not look flat
enough.? That could be the lighting.? At least they attempted to
make
it flat.? I've seen too many Dega's with glossy hoods.? I accept
that
it is extremely difficult to get a truly flat paint these days.
Note: The head rests are the correct molded ones, which many Dega
restorations get wrong.? They are very nice and I am jealous of
them.? (If anyone has nice molded 1969 head rests that they need
to
get rid of, please contact me.)
Overall, it is a very nice looking car.
I suspect that while the asking price is probably where the market
should be, I don't think the market is there yet.
