You don¡¯t have to remove the glass. Just unscrew the door seal which exposes the bottom of the vertical piece?

It is the same part for 68 and 69. In both cases, it is just the
rubber and there is left and right. It slots into a metal channel on
the back edge of the front window. You do NOT remove the channel.

You need to slide your old rubber out before you can put in the new
stuff. There is a screw holding the bottom of the rubber. The rubber
then slides down out of the channel (into the door).

I don't know whether or not you need to remove the front door glass
to get at everything. Someone else can chime in on that.
