Birthday party for State Parks.

Anyone interested in becoming involved in planning the birthday party for the 50th anniversary of the Alaska State Parks?? I would like to see this happen, but would need a few more people to help me.? Thanks, Carol

2020 is the 50th anniversary of Alaska State Parks, and they want to celebrate big. There are several events planned in the Interior, including an art show, a birthday party in Delta, a cabin challenge similar to the borough's trails challenge, and more. Stay tuned for the details! And lots more statewide.
One of the things that we'd love to do is to have a birthday party in Fairbanks as well. The state would provide cake, it could be somewhere like Chena Landing or another park. We're thinking early August, but nothing is set in stone about that. Other than that, it can take shape in whatever way the planners think will be fun for people.
