Carol Lokken is leading a hike down to The Golden Eagle in Ester on Sunday, September 29th.
The weather foreguesser indicates a mostly sunny and cooler afternoon.
?Meet in the parking lot of the Golden Eagle Saloon 3630 Main St Ester, AK 99725?at 1:30 pm to coordinate the car shuttle to the trailhead.
It¡¯s an easy 2 hour, mostly downhill hike.
We hike down to the Golden Eagle, we can cook a burger, (The Eagle sells the fixings for the burger and provides the grill, you cook your own) have a drink and listen to ?some local music. ?Or you¡¯re welcome to depart after the hike. ?Well behaved dogs are
welcome. So are kids if they behave as well as the dogs ;-)
