Gee, Brandon, I don't know about the websites, but I spent
August in France, and there were TONS of T4s. More than
Sharans.

Brandon,

I have to agree with Dan, I think the confusion is that the "Eurovan"
name is a US/Canada name, much like the Vanagon was in the previous
incarnation of the VW van.

The T4 (the VW designation for the 4th generation of the Type 2
commercial vehicle) is the largest selling commercial vehicle in
Europe. It comes in many models....single cab pickup, double cab pick
up, double cab van (two bench seats - one in the front, one in the
middle, the rear of the van is separated by a fiberglass partition),
Kombi, Caravelle, Multivan, and various and sundry camper versions.

The Sharan is VW's equivalent to the "minivan", and is built in a joint
venture with Ford who markets their version as the "Galaxie". Both
versions are built in a jointly owned plant in Portugal.
