I lost my 93 GL to an inattentive driver a couple of weeks ago, and I'm
in search mode myself.? Todd Vess led me to a new 99 GLS at the VW
dealer in Greeley.? They have been by far the most aggressive dealer
I've talked to yet in terms of discounts.? They've had this one on
the lot for a while and are motivated to move it.
Also, I've checked for replacement 93's in the southwest and haven't
had much luck.? Not a lot of EV's were sold in Texas, campers are
real rare.? This limited market is hurting me on my settlement with
friendly insurance company.? Anyway, I checked the Yahoo! Classifieds.?
You can narrow the search quite a bit.? Just for grins, I searched
for 93's for sale in Colorado and came up with a total of six, which is
three more than Texas.? You might check it out.? Word of caution-the
mileage indicated on the data sheet is rarely correct.
