Unfortunately, a gas one is out of the question for a number of reasons. Has to be battery powered. Only alternative is an extension lead with several tens of meters… ? Nuno T. ?

I now use a Weller butane soldering iron, it is about 40 years old, works great, came with a wide selection of tips.
