Scout Motors, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group will reveal an electric SUV and pickup truck on Thursday. We're expecting them to be rugged, adventure-ready machines (probably with Rivian vibes) manufactured in the U.S., at a new plant in South Carolina¡ªassuming everything stays on track. In other news today, Arkansas apparently has enough lithium to power the world's EVs but there's a big question mark over how much of that can be extracted. Also, the Zeekr Mix MPV makes the VW ID. Buzz look rather incomplete and the Dodge Charger Daytona EV will reportedly get solid-state batteries.
