Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
Thanks for the info Ian.
Any open source as a group thing needs to be run from a development plan with agreed tasks and controlled updates. If people want a free for all, they can fork the software

Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
Hi Chris, I did write a reply to you on May 9th over Mac security constraints and the fix - did you get to see it?

Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
Hi Paul,
Yes, I saw the Javascript version - it's really good. In fact it was so good and worked on any system with a browser, so it did not make sense for me to continue developing the Windows

Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
Here's the strange thing...?
I was running into that exact issue. So perhaps it was not an Intel/M2 issue. Last night I updated my computer's OS to the latest and this morning PSUD2 worked fine.?

Power Supply Design Program
At one time about 6 months ago I was in an io group where there was a program you could use to design a power supply, made available through that group. Not long after that my Windows 7 laptop crashed

Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
On my Intel based Macbook, I have not been able to run PSUD2 for the past
18 months or so due to an inability to install the program correctly (it
installs, but the program can't find a rectifier) --

Sensible suggestions:
1. Depends on the team doing open source. A perfect example of things
gone wrong is LibreOffice. It's been taken over by script kiddies
that focus on glitter and break

Re: Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
Hi,
Thanks for picking up on this. The .dmg file uploaded here is meant for Intel hardware only I'm afraid. Sorry it didn't work for you, I'll make the files page more descriptive on this.

Is there a build for M1/M2 Mac?
I'm getting an error when trying to run the builds for MacOS in the Files. Is this because I am running on a M2 Mac? Thanks.

Re: Downloading PSUD for Mac
Hi Chris,
There was an issue identical to this picked up in late 2020, it was linked to a MacOS upgrade which locked down the security tighter. There's a fix for it, but the permissions need to be

Re: Downloading PSUD for Mac
Hi,
There's a note in the files area, however it is pretty vague as it doesn't give any OS version numbers:
I'm not sure how far back PSUD will work as I only have the one MacBook Pro to support

Re: Valve doubler bug in PSUD2 ?
OK that's a good bit of info, thanks.
It does make me concerned though, as the model is the same for all the diodes; solid state as well as vacuum tube. At least I can duplicate the issue at this

Re: Valve doubler bug in PSUD2 ?
I noticed it seems to be related to the valve diode model, as HV valve diodes (eg. 575A and 3B28) show symmetric behavior.
