Re: DINAH on PI Zero
I was getting exact errors. RFI was causing the USB audio to disconnect. Fixed it by separating the radio further, using some choked, etc, but also have a Fe-Pi clone (audio hat) enroute. Are you

Digipeating is not enabled in the APRSIS32.
The system still

Re: Digipeating with a local client connected
That's why I was asking if this was a known feature (of DireWolf assuming the attached client application is going to take over the digipeat logic). I haven't had a chance to actually test this

I've been getting some strange problem reports from users of my YAAC software when connected to DireWolf, so I wanted to find out if this was a feature or a misconfiguration on their part,

Re: What are the proven and cost effective radios to use with Direwolf and Winlink?
A radio that has a 'data' connector works quite well with Direwolf, an audio adapter and the cables to connect them. You don't need a separate hardware TNC. Direwolf is a TNC.
The same audio adapter

Re: What are the proven and cost effective radios to use with Direwolf and Winlink?
I'm using an AnyTone AT5888UV (dual VFO FM rig), an XGGCOMM Digimode-3 interface and a Raspberry-Pi4.? The combination has been working very nicely for FLDIGI, PAT Winlink and APRS (Direwolf), QSSTV

Re: What are the proven and cost effective radios to use with Direwolf and Winlink?
I've talked to several commercial radio shop owners here in Michigan, and they told me they will typically reprogram a radio for free. Many are HAMs and are happy to see the radios get used.

Radio's that have a data connection for winlink, you will need a TNC that
connects to the radio. , And for direwolf, that is an entity different

16-pin GM300s are ideal. If you're working with a public safety agency, you
might be able to get them to program them for you. Heck, they might have
some GM300s in a closet for free.

Re: What are the proven and cost effective radios to use with Direwolf and Winlink?
Discriminator is pin 11 on the 16 pin accessory of most Motorola 16 pin

On the radios without 16 pin acc, you will need to tap a discriminator from
the circuit board.
In some cases you can
