Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
I use SoundVolumeCommandLine ( https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/sound_volume_command_line.html ). For example, I run the attached script KenwoodTM-V7.ps1 in PowerShell. The helper script setLevels.ps1

Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
I do remember seeing warning messages from Direwolf, but maybe that was on Linux and not Windows. I'll give it a try at "5" for a while and see how it goes. Maybe I can increase the input level a bit

Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
direwolf works fine over a very wide range of audio input. An indication of audio level 5 is fine. Don't worry about it. 73, John WB2OSZ

Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
I have, and I can change the input/output devices for each application, and also adjust the output level for each application, but I cannot adjust the input level per application with it or any other

Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
Thanks Scott. I just looked into it, but it appears to only be able to change the volume (output) level of an application, but not the microphone (input) level. Thanks, Steve K4RVA

Re: Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
Have you looked into the built in Volume Mixer for windows.? It allows you to assign input an output device levels to each application.? You will see the ability to set the applications that are

Anything like pavucontrol for Windows?
I have a Sabrent USB audio device connected between a Kenwood TS-570 and a desktop PC, which is running Windows 10. When I adjust the audio input levels for a good level as reported by Direwolf (~50),

I am now going direct from Easy Digi to the TH-F6 (extension cable not used). I have also installed multiple toroid style chokes on everything but still get RF buzz. When running on the battery, it

There are multiple USB Audio Devices with GPIO capability.
I have two DRA-36M boards on the packet station I am trying to configure and Direwolf is having trouble enumerating the PIDs. I've read and followed the instructions here

Fyi, APRSC is the software that most servers are running that make them IS servers. 73, Lee K5DAT [email protected]> wrote:

PERFECT! -> all is functional. Good luck with the antenna work. As for the quick start, I thought the top section of the Direwolf.conf did a pretty good job of that. Set the 4 listed items to match

I see my confusion. I don't know how the lines got separated, but I can see in the "raw" conf file that the comment is on the same line. Rectified. Thank you. And APRSC, again me misinterpreting the

APRSC? I am not sure what that is, or how you are checking it.? It appears to be a "build your own" server (like I used for testing). You are making it into the APRS-IS backbone because you are

Re: Trouble connecting to APRS2 using direwolf.conf & HT on Rpi 3, decodes beacons well though....
So, I have renamed the direwolf.conf file in the /build directory, and renamed both sdr.conf files in case they were a problem. There is still a generic.conf but that seems to be fully commented out

Funny, but that is what both the V1.6 (pg 40) and V1.7 (p43) User Manual shows: Dire Wolf version ... Reading config file /Users/<Home_Dir>/direwolf.conf But later in the manual, the path section is

I've filed an enhancement request at https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf/issues/554 to have Direwolf specifically call out what path and configuration file it's using when it starts

FWIW, I recently (2 weeks ago) moved direwolf to another computer. It was a fresh installation of v1.8D and it only created direwolf.conf in my home directory. There is not a copy in the build

Just a suggestion. Locate all the direwolf.conf files on your computer (find or locate or whatever works for you), make a list of them and their paths. Rename each one to something unique, like
