A few questions to help starting in the right direction:
- Which Kantronics TNC's are you using (KPC3, 9612+, ???)?
- Are you trying to use the BBS built into the TNC or setting one up external to the TNC in software on the Pi?
- Since DW effectively duplicates and supersedes? the capability of the Kantronics TNC, are you just planning to use the Kantronics as a radio interface, or do you really want to use the capabilities of the Kantronics TNC and just use the software on the pi as a TNC interface?

Ok, although it's out of topic (OT), here is my project that I
want to accomplish and hope someone can help.? I have a raspberry
pi 3 that I have hooked up a RS-232 to TTL level shifter for the
pi.? It works and using a Minicom in raspbianos, I can interogate
the TNC similar to when using putty in Windows.? My plan is to
connect a Kantronics TNC via the RS-232 port and run a BBS/Node
with the RPi.? I have several Kantronics TNC's here that I want to
use for EMCOMM.? I want to know how I can accomplish that and
share it to the local club here.
