Not always required for "quiet sites but it can help your radio with
avoiding being swamped by nearby signals, etc.? Look on Ebay and
other sites for say a 4 cavity 2m duplexer set.? They aren't cheap
though.
What's the goal here?? Bandpass the 144.390 MHz frequency?? If so, a duplexer assembly (usually comprising multiple BpBr cavity sets for two freqs) isn't the logical choice.? A cavity or two (in series) designed just for bandpassing (and no duplexing capability) is relatively economical and readily?available on the used market.
