It would be extremely rare that you would want to use anything other than simply:

It defaults to GPIO 3.?? All of the homebrew projects and products, that I have seen, all use the same pin, so there is probably no reason to specify it.

Dire Wolf automatically identifies the HID (used for PTT) corresponding to the audio device for that channel.? The HID number could change if you add or remove USB devices and reboot.??

If you were to include a specific HID device in your configuration, for PTT, it could be wrong after rebooting.

This even works properly if you have several USB Audio Adapters, each connected to a different radio.? Dire Wolf will figure out which HID to use for each one.

The "cm108" utility provides a view of the devices available.
