Look for "reference mark every 50mm" or "quadrature with index" and an R
pin on the connector pin out. When I bought my scales the documentation
showed a 'R' pin but I hadn't known enough to order

If you purchase DRO glass scales, I recommend finding ones that have an
index. I believe these may have an index every so often (every 50mm??) With
