You use the downloaded STL files, most projects coming out of Josef Prusa
printables are sound
and tested.
As regards 3D printing, 80% is artistic and 20% trial and error with
filament and machines

I think the parts (STL) files would need to be converted to a STEP file
format, from there
each part would have to have a draft angle 3-5 degrees ? added to allow the
castings to slip out the

The photo shows the commercial one does have dovetail joints.
I’d build a special clamping feature to hold them on the 4th axis and just use a dovetail cutter to cut the outer grooves as
