Richard,
My Z axis drifts quite a bit over time.? It's driven by two steppers which I'm guessing aren't exactly matched ('cos they were the cheapest I could find), so the relationship of the X axis

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.
John ... sounds like a plan with the oiling system.? If you want you can run up to six DC motors if you have several points you wan to oil.? You'll be trail blazing though as we only tested it with

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.
I cannot understand the need for auto bed levelling. On my Anet A8 once
I have it levelled manually I never need to touch it again. If I change

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.

the top of the headstock, and fitted
a cover with a perspex. I was going to drill and tap 2 holes

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.
John, I've not heard of a Real Bull lathe before so I Googled it.? It doesn't appear to have drip oilers or will you be fitting the Auto-Oiler to another machine.
If you need any additional info

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.

I tried adding hashtags when I posted.? As the system covers many different disciplines I had several listed.? After about the third the page threw a bit of a wobbler, saying it can't save and was

Re: Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.
It's a Prusa i2 I cobbled together myself from an electronics kit and bought printed parts (many of which I had to remake).? It's about 7 or 8 years old now.? It's paid for itself many times over,

Auto-Oiler replacement for Myford and other drip oilers.
*Preamble...*
Having owned my ML7 lathe for some 30+ years I learned to live with the vagaries of the spindle drip lubrication system. However, fitting an inverter and 3ph motor and running it at
