MT-4 out of band operation

Can the MT-4 modules be forced out of band?
From what I can tell there are two bands:

132- 150 mhz
150- 174 mhz

Can they be forced up or down as the case may be, into the
144-148 range?
tnx

There may be solder jumpers inside the synthesizer can that change the band.

Yes they can. Open up a fresh file build your data and write to the module. I did some 4D earlier this year.?

tnx.... can you swap the RX and TX synth modules like you do with MT-3's and if so , how would this affect programming?

No swapping modules. Just program and confirm it meets specs. Front end realignment will be necessary?

Jim.?

I recently acquired an mt4e vhf, it reprogrammed fine to 2m, although the receiver doesn't want to 'read' when first attached.? I do need to retune the front end still but that's not difficult,? i had to order the adaptors to my vna so it's in waiting mode.??
