I picked up some MT-4D modules for a project.? But coming up with the Radio Programming Interface Module is proving a bit harder.? I have scoured the files and messages here and found reference to using a Motorola RIB?? Has anyone tried this?? According to Fred's message the only Pins used on the DB9<>RJ45 cable that connects the module to the RPIM are Pins 1, 7 &8.? Pin one is labled as LH_DATA.? Pin 7 is +8.8VDC to teh RPIM and Pin8 is SB9600_Busy.? ? I am
assuming?the programming speed is 9600KBPS?? When I look at the block diagram I see LH_DATA and SB900_Busy are bidriectional?? any ideas of logic levels.? I am trying to figure out is I can make and interface to a motorola RIB, and that would work?
Oh and last bit anyone have later version software for these.? I have an early version.
