Update on Raspberry Pi production and supply-chain
Useful read for understanding the supply of RPi's. BTW, Microcenter in Dallas shows a supply of RPi 3A+'s. ? ?_____ |\/ ? o \? ?o ? ? ? ? ??Rusty Haddock? <=>? AE5AE? | ? (? -<? O o ? ? ?Settled down in oh-so-fancy Plano. |/\__V__/? ? ? ?Math illiteracy affects 7 out of 5 people! |
Re: DallasRPI Usergoup Meeting 4/2022
Sounds like a plan. I like remote controlled systems. Including VNC.

Quick and easy 10 minute demo. Plus a little more time? if there is interest in how we manage manual vs remote control of our system (not using VNC).

Paul,
? ?Depends on how "in place" you mean 'cause the
RPi4 and RP3 have their ethernet and USB connectors
swapped on the end of the board and the 4 has two
micro HDMI connectors in place of the one full-sized
on the 3B+.? Oh, not to mention the 4B has a USB-C
power connector instead of the micro USB on the 3's.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks Rusty! ? Getting one to see if we can drop it in, in place of 3b+ which are as scarce as hens teeth, although 3B prices are now dropping a bit in china, back down to $80 per + shipping, were up to $140 each. ? Paul ? ? ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of

Heads-up, all y'all, the weather forecasts right now state that driving conditions are going to improve only Saturday in the PM. Because of this, this Saturdays' DFW RPI meeting is going to be online only.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHey Everyone, ? It has finally happened ¨C the first is out the door! ? Software is still 1 week behind where I want it to be, but we have OTA so no big deal. ? Here is an interesting diagnostics screen, python with pysimplegui. ? All of the gui layout is done in about 120 code lines, without compressing lines into each other. The top 3 charts are static, showing how much power system motorized valves use. The bottom 6 charts scroll to the left, like an oscilloscope. Where there are 3 different legend colors the charts are auto ranging in the y scale for the color band. This allows us to show small values in detail, while still being to draw big y numbers on the same chart. The right hand side with the multiple check box colors shows the results of automated system tests. There are over 90 gui updateable objects in this screen. At least 2022 is moving in the right direction. ? Paul ? |
