Very.
Have yet to notice any, but then I only got a few installed. Didn't spend too much time on that, partialy because it's script. Time to downoad and reload.
Appreciate the heads-up.

Yet another release of RPi OS
Interesting... There must have been some bugs in the 3-15 release of
Raspberry Pi OS as I just noticed some new downloads.
Here are the release notes: 2024-03-15:

Re: Calculating Pi on a RPi 5
24. Pi has a sacred bond with the circle. A circle’s angle
spans 360 degrees around its centre and it is a coincidence
that the number 360 is at the 359th digit position of pi.

Re: Calculating Pi on a RPi 5
In engineering school, back in the coal burning days, the original 4-function calculators became
available. Most did not have a pi button.
A sufficiently good approximation of pi for any exam could

Re: DFWRPI 03/2024
I got the little controller box open from the Wally World LED
string -- no glue so it just took a little prying. The wires
to the LEDs were easy enough to unsolder and then connect to

Re: DFWRPI 03/2024
Worst case, just a little snip and figuring out which wires are what.
There's only 3 so it can't be too hard. ?

Actually, they already have a controller and a remote.
Project for tonight is to see how hard it is to remove
the controller.
Yes, but it's not gooey snot. :)

Re: DFWRPI 03/2024
so just wire it up data & ground to your fav microcontroller, feed from included power supply, party time?
LEDs look as if they have silicone snot on them, do they?

Both, but I got mine from the store on Exchange.
Five meters of 3 thin wires. Similar to the strands
that come from Pimoroni and their glass containers
although the wires aren't stuck together. WW's

Cornelius Keck I can do a small update on my LED hacking. If needed,
I have an old talk from a few years ago about connecting a serial LCD

Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi
That's funny I was looking at alternative OS's today to run on a tiny ARM SBC that only has 32MB of RAM and 16MB of flash. The SOC is an ARMv5TE which is listed as compatible. My other options were
