Update on Audible and HW Companion

Two updates today.
?
1- Audible
?
Last we heard in August, Audible was going to provide an update on September 12th. And they delivered! They told us that the work is well in process, they have prototypes and it's going really well on their end, but they still have some bugs to fix.
?
They plan on delivering us (at HumanWare) a beta version of AudibleSync so we can start development and testing on our end. This means that, if all goes well (and at this point, I'm cautiously optimistic), it will be in the 1.3 release for Q1 2024. Yay!

2- HW Companion
?
We finally released the new version of the HW Companion with MTP compatibility for the Stream 3. It also also now has the VRTrek listed as a supported device (it always worked with the VRTRek, but you had to choose the Stream 2). The Stream 3 is the "Stream 603" version.
?
It can be found on https://support.humanware.com/en-canada/support/humanware_companion (and a link to that page will be added to the Stream 3 page later today).

开云体育This is good news Matieu.? I had quite given up on Audible doing anything at all to support the VR3.? Now I may well become a customer of Audible.
