I downloaded 4 of them nevertheless on my PC and none of them worked in VLC or Media Player

Glad to report that, for me, BBC radio feeds are still available outside of BBC Sounds app.
Best for getting the HLS streams (presume they are the HLS Streams) is the Synapptic phone/tablet software

Hi Ray, I found a way to listen to BBC stations on Western attic phone. I've got Alexa set up on my phone. If you ask her to play the BBC stations that you want she'll do it. Best wishes Mrs Villa

Also - and I am not sure how loudly we should proclaim this to prevent vicious mandarins at the BBC pulling the plug on this also, but the Webbie BBC iPlayer is still working fine for listen again
