Subject: [victor] The Victor Reader Stream 3 is coming... sooner than you think!? Today, I'm proud to announce first here on this group to our loyal followers that we will soon be releasing the Victor Reader Stream 3 in February! The Victor Reader Stream 2 has been out for almost 10 years at this point, and it has been a faithful device for all your reading and listening needs. But after 10 years, it needed a bit of a refresh! The Victor Reader Stream 3 is everything the Stream 2 is, and more. I won't disclose all the details here, as more information will be coming over the next few weeks, but I can tease a few things: - Bigger SD card support (up to 1tb) IMPORTANT: Do not contact our sales/support/customer service teams, they don't have any other information to share. We'll keep you updated over the next couple weeks! As the Stream 3 will be coming out, this means that the Stream 2 will soon be officially retired. Once we finish selling what we have in inventory, as is customary at Humanware, we will keep supporting them for 3 years (until 2026). This means technical support and repairs as required unless parts become unavailable. No further update to the software will be done. Stay tuned for more news over the next few weeks, including a webinar in February (link to come, I'll post it here!) Thank you all for your patience. We know you waited a long time, but we wanted to make sure we delivered a quality product that meets or exceeds your expectations. You won't be disappointed, I'm pretty proud of this new member of the family!
