Hi Pele,
Although my wife and I haven't had our various routers reset to a name we can remember as such, we've asked the engineers to continue using the same name for the new router as for the previous one. I assume it's that name to which you are referring when you mention the SSID, am I correct?

our network to a name we could remember, and reset the password.
We have done this every time we get a new routher.
This means we don't have to reset all our devices each time we change our
provider or upgrade our broadband.
