Re: Unable to play the station

Hi Adrian and nice someone's read my message!

I do have a smart phone but not up to speed using it at all, but that's another story.? The reason I and so many use the Trek and Stream is buttons and the Humanware interface which we find so much easier to use.? I do accept that a smart phone would most likely handle the streams I cannot hear on the trek but it would be nice to hear if anyone can hear Bolton FM on their smart phone just to confirm its the Trek that is the problem here.

I have thought more than once Humanware would do well to sell a keyboard to work with smart phones to take advantage of up-to-date operating systems though I don't think HW is listening.

Knowing that you have problems with hand co-ordination Adrian I am rather surprised you manage touch screen phones.Little surprising then that it was yourself who set up this list as I recall and its good you did.

Hi Ray

Sorry I don't have a treck to try it on, I think it is a lot of money for what you get extra, most of us have smart phones and can probably do most of it on there. Have you got a smart phone Ray, could you play Bolton fm on there? There are loads of accessible radio apps.

Regards

Adrien

Subject: [vrstreamuk] Unable to play the station

I am trying to listen to Bolton FM - the home of the Bolton Family - on my Trek. OOTune finds it but no go trying to play the station. I might add I get the same result trying to play Black country Radio. Both of these are UK community stations.

So, would someone else try and see if they can play Boltonb FM/ I cannot help but express my frustration about the Trek which increasingly refuses to play staitons first time or not at all, Mushroom being another case in the UK playlist. I am sure I will not be alone in looking at other internet radios as the Trek seem to be getting to be a load of pants as an internet radio.
