humanware are bringing out the new victor reader trek but not sure when it will be available.
it has a lot of improvements on the existing version including having a camera in it, a better gps chip that will work with the galileo satellite system and do indoor navigation.
they described that when wanting to be guided to somewhere that is in a building the gps would get you as close as possible, then the camera would take over to guide you right to the door and beyond.
they've taught it thousands of different types of doors and windows and such like by taking photos so that it can easily recognise different things.
